We offer rolling admissions throughout the year. New students will find a welcome environment to enter at any time during the year.
The following elements are part of the application process:
Parent/Family tour of school. Tours of the school are scheduled at a mutually convenient time. Please call the school office at 978-283-1700 to schedule your tour or click the 'contact us' button to schedule your tour. During the tour, the family has an opportunity to view the classrooms, as well as learn about the School’s mission, philosophy, and methodology.
Parent meeting with head of school and teacher. After the tour, a faculty member or the Headmaster will meet with the family and answer any questions that the family may have about the Eastern Point Day School experience including classroom environment, teacher/faculty information, curriculum, or the admission process.
Submission of enrollment package and financial/scholarship information. To progress to the next stage, the parents or guardians submit a completed application for enrollment with a non-refundable fee on behalf of the child applicant. A decision to apply for admission to the school is an indication of the family’s willingness to embrace the Eastern Point Day School philosophy, mission, and community.
When the School receives the application, the school’s administrative staff will open an application file for the child. The School’s administrative staff or appropriate teacher from the class to which the child is entering will contact the family and ask them to schedule an in-classroom visit.
Student visit. All children participate in a visit in the classroom to which the child is an applicant. This is an opportunity for the child and the parents to experience Eastern Point Day School while allowing the teacher to assess the child’s readiness for our academic environment.
Transfer of school records. After an application is received, the school’s administrative staff will request the parents to sign a Record and Information Release Form so that a written assessment may be obtained from the applicant’s previous school(s) for review during the admission process.
Once accepted, an Enrollment Contract along with financial and scholarship information will be sent to the family. A child is considered enrolled only when the Enrollment Contract is signed and returned along with a non-refundable tuition deposit paid to the school.
Enrollment priority is given to students currently enrolled when the application and non-refundable fee for those students are received early in the admission season.
